Day 1 - Pre Juice Fast

So although I'm not officially starting my juice fast until Aug. 25, I have decided to to start juicing for one meal a day as not to send myself into a total shock & detox. So yesterday I tried really hard to not eat any sugar (I did cheat though) and today I've not had any sugar, drinking 64 oz of water a day, and juicing for one meal.

I've been a little freaked out thinking about all the disgusting juices that I will have to drink. So each day I'll try a new receipe to ease my little mind.  Today I had the most excellent juice. Here is the reciepe:


Purple Power Juice
6 cups Concord Grapes
1 Golden Delicious Apple
2 2" x 2” pieces Ginger
1/2 cup Blackberries

Calories: 470
Protein: 5 g
Fiber: 1 g

Amazing!! Put it on ice and you have a nice cold refreshing drink! I find it easier to drink juices through a straw as well!

I am also going to post my body stats on the side of website so everyone can see my progress. Sad and scary I know, but then everyone can give me motivation!!

Good luck on losing weight. I've lost just over 26lbs in about 4 months since having my baby. It's a hard battle. How much are you looking to lose?
